In my personal ranking of the best Soviet portrait lens, Helios-40-2 is the undisputed leader, while having a huge lead. Second place holds the most popular fixed-telephoto Jupiter-37A, and closes the top three sharp outrageously Kaleynar-5H.  Show more

I started love this lens after seeing some lovely images by this lens by Kelly Serada (http://kellysereda.com/bokeh/h1c223455#h1c223455).Ordered this lens in m42 mount on the website but did not receive this lens in the indicated shipping period and was promptly given a refund on request.  Show more
