MWC G10 100m Water resistant Version with Screw Down Crown G10/SS/100M   DESCRIPTION:   This new version of our G10 watch has increased water resistance to a depth of 100m/330ft as well as a larger case diameter along with reduced case thickness. Although this G10/98 Specification watch traces its origins right back to our earliest G10 designs it represents the most radical upgrade and specification enhancement since we updated our standard 50m G10 models in 2004. In addition to the increased water resistance rating the watch also has a larger case diameter, reduced overall thickness and a sand blasted case finish. Sandblasting is a process used on a large number of current military watches from other manufacturers and has not been widely employed on our G10 models since the 1990s. When we secured a contract to produce this model it was specified alongside the requirement for screw caseback, 100m water resistance and screw down crown that the case should be 100% covert and non reflective and it was decided that sand blasting was the best process to meet that requirement as well as providing a very robust and durable finish. The end result is that our 100m water resistant G10 watches are totally unique, because MWC is the only contractor producing standard European Infantry specification watches which meet a water resistance rating of 100m (330ft) as opposed to the standard 50m rating of other manufacturers. This new model also incorporates a high performance Ronda 715li movement which has a battery life of up to 10 years. The G10 100m variant is very rugged and is designed to survive the most extreme of conditions. It is supplied with a current issue grey NATO webbing strap although we can supply most other colours at no additional cost such as Black, Grey/Black know as James Bond pattern, Navy or Olive if you wish to specify one of these alternatives at checkout. The back of the case bears various contract markings in addition to the unique serial number.
